SMALL-SIDED GAMES INFORMATION SESSION
The Highlands Soccer Association (HSA) has embraced the move by the Football Federation of Australia (FFA) to introduce small-sided games (SSG) as a replacement of Roo Ball soccer over the coming years.
HSA is hosting an information session to communicate this important change to player development and game structure for Under 6's to Under 9's and ultimately to Under 12's.
SSG will be phased in over several years starting initially with Under 6, 7, 8 & 9 IN
2009, with the Under 10's still under consideration for 2009. Under 11 & 12 may still be implemented in 2009, however it is quite likely SSG will be implemented to these two age groups in 2010 or 2011.
